ATTORNEYS SECURE A MOTION FOR SUMMARY JUDGMENT
TLD partner Roy Jimenez and associate Pamela Tahim successfully secured a Motion for Summary Judgment on all causes of action that was affirmed by the Fourth District Court of Appeal in favor of an employer in a wrongful termination lawsuit. The employee alleged damages for wrongful termination on the basis of age discrimination, disability discrimination, and failure to accommodate. When the employee lost on the Motion for Summary Judgment last year, he appealed the decision with the hope he could force a settlement. He not only lost the appeal, the Court of Appeal awarded the employer the costs associated with the appeal.
